Launch of the international collective exhibition – Wave’s Imprint
The virtual gallery “Waveforme” brings together, for the third time, artworks created by young artists from countries such as Romania, Moldova, Spain, Estonia, Croatia, Belgium, England, Turkey, Iran, the Philippines, Poland, Greece, Japan, Italy, Hungary, the Netherlands, China, Serbia, Mexico, and the United States.
This exhibition space goes beyond a simple collection of works, becoming a platform for intercultural dialogue that unites over 30 young individuals, connected not only by their passion for art but also by their belief that hearing impairment is not a barrier, but a challenge that can inspire and transform.
From painting and digital graphics to photography and object art, this year’s edition presents a diverse mix of works that reveal young creators’ sensitivity, curiosity, dilemmas, and concerns. Each piece represents a unique voice in this visual chorus, contributing to a collective experience transcending traditional communication’s boundaries. In the “Waveforme” gallery, the sound is replaced by the vibrations of creativity, offering visitors a unique perspective on the power to overcome our limits.
The artworks exploring the mature relationship with the reality of young adult life, its challenges, and responsibilities, reflect the attempt to find a balance between ideals and pragmatism, adding a special depth to personal experiences.
Many young artists present works that express strength, courage, and the desire to find new meanings for universal themes such as love, time, or identity. Through titles like “Threads of Fate” (Isaura Lauwers, Belgium), “Cohleea” (Manoli Cristina, Moldova), “The Hearing of the Moon” (Dragan Jovanović, Serbia), or “Let’s Make America Hear Again” (Susan Gilchrist – 24 years old, Illinois, USA), these works manage to illustrate how art can convert internal tensions into meaningful visual expressions.
