Open call for creative Teens with cochlear implant/Hearing Aids
WaveforMe connects youth around the world who have hearing impairments, by means of art!
The platform waveforme.org hosts the first virtual art gallery dedicated to the teenagers with hearing impairments, cochlear implant or hearing aids who are fond of visual art.
We discover, support and promote young talents by offering them personalized virtual showrooms! In this way the public has the opportunity to discover your creative universe by means of some instruments that are more and more present in the world of art professionals’ life.
This is a call for you if:
You are aged 12-18
You live with a cochlear implant or hearing aids
You are fond of visual art
You want to make your work of art popular around the world
You want to meet talented youth from different parts of the world who share the same passions and interests
“Yes! How can I join it?”
- Choose 1 to 5 works of art that best represent you artistically or create one especially for this occasion!
- Scan or take a photo to highlight them as well as you can. The works are important to be clear and well- enframed.
- Specify the following information for each work: the artist’s name, age, birth place, work title, size, used technique.
* Eligible works: drawings, paintings, collage, photography, fashion design, sculpture,
ceramic- excepting video works.

Deadline for submitting works: April 20th, 2022
The results will be posted here and on the project’s facebook page on May, 15th
The virtual gallery will be brought up on June, 6th, 2022 and in July there will be an itinerant exhibition with a selection of the works presented in the virtual gallery, willing to be exhibited for the public in four big cities in Romania: Sibiu, Timisoara, Iasi and Bucharest in order to promote young talents.
